概要 [Introduction] We carried out the person with disability (PWD) participating OT training since 2002,
and have researched the effect of both students and PWDs. In this time we had follow-up survey to the
graduates by questionnaire, and investigated the meaning after graduation in clinical field.[Purpose]
Clarify contribution of a PWD participating training after graduation. [Objects] 21 graduates who have
3 years experiences as OTR, average of age are 24.3 years old. Backgrounds before entrance into the
OT course are fifteen high school graduates, one college graduate, five university graduates, and four
members has work experience.[Method] Asked clinical area and whether the training would be useful
for the present work by questionnaire and evaluation form. In addition, asked the reason and indication
of the shortage point by free writing.[Result] Valid response rates were 23.8%. All respondents assessed
the training was fairly helpful in present work, especially useful for adapting device, and for the
understanding individuality of PWDs in which difficulty in each life. Concrete assessment skills, such
as observation of ADL and basic motion analysis were mentioned as shortage point.[Consideration and
conclusion] The experiences that interview to PWDs and understand their living situation remained as
good impression of the training in the graduates who replied. They are seems to remembered the past
training details in the face of the complicated clinical situation. The result of this study shows that rookie
OTRs reconfirmed the value of the training in each clinical field. It has been proved that PWD
participating training is contributes to OT students to rise up emotional intelligence by our precedence
research. Furthermore, this study suggests that the effectiveness is expectable to continue until after
graduation. The reconsideration of technical method was required as further problem.
