概要 | International Collaborative Project (ICP) is needed. Its sophisticated design enables direct exchange even after the preparatory activity. ICT utilization also allows students to make ICP related to tackling global issues that the new generation should face. We have been hosting ICP. There have been discussions on how to make an authentic setting for students to acquire the competences to enrich their lives based on constructivist theory. In reviewing our experiences over the past 12years, we have come to the conclusion that learners develop a more meaningful understanding if they are active participants in their own authentic setting. ICPs focusing on the use of English to give presentations provide practical learning experiences. The completion of such projects gives tangible proof of successful student collaboration. In this report, while showing examples of how students participated on the event as an authentic setting, we would like to clarify the perspectives to evaluate their activity. How are they led by the constructivist theory? |
